We formed the SPSG in 2006 with the aim of investigating the paranormal in Staffordshire and beyond.
SPSG does not subscribe to any particular belief structure. We are committed to investigating many branches of paranormal experience, including aspects such as earth mysteries, psychic phenomena and the occult, in an open minded manner.
All our members have a wide range of knowledge and experience of investigating the paranormal. Terri and Sean are ASSAP accredited and Matt is a regular contributor to Mysterymag, whilst Terri is also a qualified NRG course facilitator.
We use a range of techniques to investigate the paranormal in a reasoned manner. There is great debate over what form paranormal investigation should take, but insofar as it means an approach that considers all evidence fairly we are committed to the rational investigation of the subject. We aim to undertake comprehensive research, including detailed interviewing of witnesses and subjects and in-depth library and archive research. The SPSG endeavours to employ investigative techniques best suited to its means, personnel and subject matter.
The SPSG believes that personally experiencing phenomena is the best basis on which to build an investigation, and we strive to do this whenever possible.
